I bought this stapler to install cedar shingles and it does a great job at that. It has plenty of power, enough to sink staples into hardwood.
It is easy to see how many staple remain in the magazine. There is no dry fire lock out so this stapler will continue to fire even when the magazine is empty.
It is fairly easy to select between bump and sequential fire, there is a small selector on the trigger.
If you use this stapler with a light hand it may recoil off the workpiece, thereby not sinking the staple completely. This is not a problem when bump firing.
