This saw Is part of the DeWalt cordless line up. And that Is the reason I ponied up the $$$ even though I own a Festool Trion barrelgrip. Over all I give it average marks. The blade does not stay strait in thick cuts!! If you need a cordless jigsaw to build a system around this is not your saw. But if you use DeWalt or need a cordless to cut exterior trim or sheets It is fine.
