Coming this March, Milwaukee Tool will be releasing a new Four Bay Sequential Charger (48-59-1204) for their M12 lithium-ion batteries. Milwaukee has one of the most extensive lines of 12V cordless tools—which I am sure will continue to grow—so a larger capacity M12 charger should be welcomed news to M12 users in a production setting. Like the M18 Six Pack Charger, the new M12 Four Bay charger...

It has been a few years since the previous model came out, so the 2621 will bring the M18 Sawzall up to par with the rest of Milwaukee’s cordless tool line. Milwaukee did recently come out with a Brushless M18 Sawzall (2720) that even puts some corded reciprocating saws to shame, and while the new 2621 shares many of the same features of the brushless model, I believe Milwaukee...

Klein has introduced their new Drill Tap Tool Kit that requires only one tool to accomplish all three tasks, and best of all, it is a lot faster to use. Made out of high speed steel, the new Klein drill tap bits feature a drill bit in the first section of the bit, a tap in the middle section, and it finishes off with a larger cutting edge that deburrs the hole. Milwaukee’s new (48-59-1807) M18 & M12 Rapid Charge Station not only promises to charge your batteries 40% faster, but it can charge up to three batteries at once. As the capacity of cordless tool batteries continues to increase from 3Ah to 4Ah to 5Ah, the charge times of each larger battery pack also increases. Consequently, more so than before, there is a need to be able to charge faster. The 48-59-1807...

Often time’s new tools are announced way in advance at trade shows or other media events, but sometimes manufacturers just like to surprise us with their latest creations. There might be some hope to see some of these in the new year, but others might just remain dreams. The benefit, of course, is that there is no cord to get in the way. Brushless technology along with larger 4.0Ah batteries should already give the Makita drywall screwdriver a long runtime, but Makita added a new feature called Push Drive that should extend it even further. I could write an review telling you all about the Milwaukee jobsite radio and all of the cool features that Milwaukee included, but instead I decided to just show you, with a video. I could point out that the radio can be run off of an M18 battery or you could simply plug it into a standard wall outlet.
