How about both? Introducing the Jointmaker Pro .

It is no doubt a cool tool, and probably indispensable to the serious woodworker; but Bridge City Tool Works has to be crazy to charge almost $1300 for this.

I cant wait to see what people come up with for a DIY version of this. How about a saw in a vise, mounted under a top, with some drawer glides.

They are looking to step up from their 10" line. The saws are set to go on sale early in July, which is surprising considering how little information there is about them. The 12" sliding compound miter saw 6955-20 will cost $700, and the non-slider 6950-20 will be $500. Photo from Wood Magazine There are a few things that do make these saws unique. They have 2 built in lights...

Amazon has a great deal on the Spring Tools 1/32" - 1/16" combo nail set. I can not say enough great things about the spring tools nail set. I use it all the time when I am installing any trim work. It has high reviews here on Tool-Rank for a reason. The normal price for this from Amazon is $11, but they have it on sale now for 40% off. You can also receive free shipping on this item if you have $25 worth of eligible items in your cart. I saw the price and couldn't resist....

This isn't your average Sawzall, this is the new 6538-21 Super Sawzall from Milwaukee. I guess it is fitting that the Sawzall is red like The Flash, because this saw is supposed to be the "fastest, most durable recip saw in the world." I don't know this for a fact, but I doubt Milwaukee would say such things just to sell more tools. All it needs is a little yellow lightning bolt, and a secret identity. Features: 15.0 Amp Milwaukee Motor - highest overload protection in the industry; prevents motor burn...

Well, are they? I have been in the construction business for almost 7 years now, and I have never heard of them until just recently. I also doubt that any of my co-workers have heard of them; if they had, they probably would be using their blades instead of the Diablo. So why is it that I have never heard of them? Probably like most construction workers, we use what we can readily find, and what we know works. This is one of the reasons, I am thinking of buying a 7...

There have been a few details floating around the Internet for a while now, and even a video or two. But the big news is that we finally have a price. Rumors had the price set between $1200 and $1500, and they were right on the money. The official price from Festool is $1300. Now $1300 is not cheap when it comes to miter saws, especially for a 10 inch, but when has Festool ever been...
